Employment Benefits Guide

Mental Health Technician - INPATIENT - Entry level or experienced to work in Crisis Stabilization/Detox unit. Experience in mental health or social services preferred. Per diem shifts available.

Peer Support Specialist – PERSONAL GROWTH CENTER -   Works closely with consumers of mental health services. Offers assistance & support from a peer perspective who understands mental health illness. Full-time or part-time. Requires high school diploma or GED.

Psychiatrist -   Provide direct psychiatric services of clients assigned to him/her.  Provide emergency psychiatric examinations as required in the Florida Mental Health Act.  Conduct history and physical examination within regulatory requirements.  Assure that medical/psychiatric services provided meet prevailing professional standards.  Inform and educate other clinical staff in salient aspects of interrelationship of psychosocial and physiological problems, as well as the use of psycho tropic medications their side effects and toxicity.  Participate in peer and utilization review process.  Provide off site out patient psychiatric services as needed at the Care Centers for Mental Health in the upper and lower keys.  Provide medical/psychiatric coverage for the CSU/Detox unit.

The position requires a graduate of an approved medical school, licensed to practice medicine and licensed as Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist in the State of Florida.  Can be full-time or part-time position.  J-1 visa welcome.

Billing Supervisor – FINANCE – Hospital billing experience in the state of Florida, including Medicare. Medicaid billing in substance abuse and mental health required.

Behavioral Health Technician – PERSONAL GROWTH CENTER – Teaching food service skills to adults with mental illness. Full-time day shift with benefits.  Certified Behavioral Health Technician Certification required (CBHT).

Adult Rehabilitation Counselor – PERSONAL GROWTH CENTER    Bachelor degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related discipline.  Other degrees with experience will be considered.   Provide work skills and supportive counseling to adults with mental illness.  Requires good computer skills.  Full-time with benefits.
